Dr. Marites “Tes” Milan
Born and raised in California, with a father and mother who are both nurses, Dr. Milan was raised with an appreciation for both hard work and changing lives through medicine. Dr. Milan received her dental degree from the University of Southern California and was offered a position with the United States Army in the Health Professions Scholarship Program. As a general dentist in the United States Army, she was deployed to Iraq providing dental support in a combat zone. It was her experience in the military, treating dental trauma and performing root canal treatment, that she realized that her true passion in dentistry was endodontics. She then received her Endodontic Certificate and Masters of Science in Dentistry from Loma Linda University.
Dr. Milan’s goal is to provide high quality patient care and comfort for every patient. She is able to provide several methods for anxiety relief and is certified in oral conscious sedation. Dr. Milan regularly attends endodontic meetings and continuing education courses to stay on the cutting edge of endodontic care. Dr. Milan achieved the highest distinction possible in endodontics when she became Board Certified in Endodontics and is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Milan has practiced for several years in the Bay Area and has relocated with her husband and 3 children to Southern California to be closer to family and friends. She is eager to meet and provide endodontic service to this wonderful community.
Dr. Milan is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Omicron
Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
